The people on the helmet

Ukrainian outlets that itemise the helmet name twenty-two people. Counts of the portraits themselves vary in published coverage — the IOC and English-language wire reports say twenty-four, The Art Newspaper says twenty-one — and no published source itemises more than twenty-two. These are those twenty-two.

Portrait photographs are published here, supplied and validated by Memorial, and each one carries its own credit. Where a plate below is still empty, the photograph for that record has not yet been cleared.
